whos got next

The next big rap star is about to be unleashed beginning when five emerging young hip hop artists, ages 11 to 17 years old, are given the opportunity to rhyme and flow with highly sought after producer, Jermaine Dupri in the all-new unscripted series, The Rap Game (Fridays at 10 PM ET/PT on Lifetime). These young rappers will be immersed in the Atlanta hip hop scene with Dupri at the helm as their mentor. Queen Latifah and Dupri executive produce the series. Each week, special guests such as Ludacris, T.I., singer-songerwriter Johntá Austin and record producer Polow da Don will join Dupri to help get mold the young talent into the next big rising rap star. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Dupri knows what it takes to succeed. Having worked with some of the biggest young talents in the music including Bow Wow, Da Brat, Kris Kross and TLC, he has a proven track record of success and will impart his eight principles on how to make it as a rap star, from producing to styling each artist. It could be anyone’s game on who may just walk away with a record contract with his label, So So Def Recordings.

The next big rap star is in this photo (above)! Shown here are (left to right): Young Lyric, Lil Poopy, Miss Mulatto, The Rap Game executive producer Jermaine Dupri, Supa Peach and Lil’ Niqo.
