Cleveland Clinic Children’s patient Charmaine Sims received the surprise of a lifetime when her favorite rapper Dej Loaf visited her in her hospital room!
Dej Loaf was in Cleveland, OH, performing at the House of Blues last week. Charmaine, 16, (who suffers from epilepsy) had tickets to the show but couldn’t go because she was hospitalized due to a bad reaction she experienced from her seizure medication.
When rap artist Dej Loaf found out about her super fan’s situation, she planned a special trip to check in on her at Cleveland Clinic Children’s—just in time for the holidays. Charmaine says meeting her idol was “simply amazing.”
“I was so excited and happy that I almost cried,” said Charmaine about meeting the music star. “ I couldn’t believe that I was really standing there looking at Dej Loaf. She was so normal and nice, and I’m just really thankful to have met her.” We applaud rising rap artist Def Loaf for making this special fan so happy. Brava!
