Is there a great salon on New Orleans that specializes in natural hair & other styles?
You’re right I used to go to Tonya when I live in Charlotte(currently living in Va). She does believe in educating you on your hair when you can get an appointment. I’m a last minuet person and sometimes I couldn’t get an appointment.
:-( But I will admit i was happy the few times I went to her.
My stylist name is Michelle Bobien. The name of the salon is Essentially For You Salon; located at 1649 Route 38, Mt. Holly, NJ 08060. My salon is great because they are versatile; not only do they specialize in natural hair, but they do relaxers, weaves, great color and much more. I am proud to say that even when I can not get Michelle to do my hair they have other stylists who are capable to make my hair look great as well.
My stylist’s name is Tonya Stokes (weave specialist). I drive 3 hours for a sew-in because she is the best. She believes in educating her clients about proper haircare and products. My hair is healthy underneath the weave and when I take a break from the extension my hair is so pretty my friends and family can’t believe it. Everyone at the salon is nice and they all have their own speciality. The spa like atmosphere relaxes you. I have been to several salons over the years but I must say that Creative Expressions Salon, is the BEST salon I have been to in years! Not only is it VERY peaceful. But you are in and out! that’s a good idea and why it’s not. She makes sure your comfortable with Your look as your going along look during the process and after. She makes sure your atmosphere is a quite, one with only the exception of the T.v for your viewing pleasure. Meaning no Cell Phones, or Children runinng around. Her cost’s are wonder and the work she does is outstanding. From natural hair to weave’s and molds that stay on and ones you can take off like a wig. I give her 5 stars out of 5 she really does and Fantastic job.
