↑ Zendaya’s Bowie tribute “Mullet” made waves on the red carpet.
If anyone can take the “Mullet” hairstyle to couture territory it’s Zendaya. The actress/singer stepped out on the Grammy red carpet last night in a fiercely tailored tux and blonde, layered coif featuring brow-grazing bangs and longer, nape-draping back. The look was a style nod to the late David Bowie whose musical tribute was one of the event’s highlights. But before you could say “business up front party at the back,” the young star transformed her coif into a totally different hairstyle for a Grammy after party appearance. After slipping into a silky, high-slit evening gown, Zendaya pulled back her lengths into a skinny ponytail and managed to slay yet again! The mane move gave the illusion of a chic pixie cut that put the spotlight on the star’s gorgeous face and fresh makeup. (BTW, Zendaya did her own makeup that night!) We think the star looked amazing—in both versions of her style.
↓ Simple, chic ponytail!
↓ Mullet or ponytail, we adore the full bangs and bold gold color on Zendaya that could also work as a pretty pixie cut (sans the longer back).
