I bleached my hair and didn’t like it. So, the next day my stylist dyed it back to brow. How long do I have to wait to get burgundy highlights? —Nichol
When hair is bleached, it loses a lot of protein, which gives hair strength. Bleaching also removes a lot of the hair’s natural moisture. So, if these elements are not replaced, hair will become weak, dry and brittle and breakage is unavoidable. Start by conditioning your hair. Once your hair is in a good state, your stylist may proceed with giving you the color you desire.
