I want to grow longer hair without having my coarse, thin mane relaxed because I end up straightening it every day. I also don’t want to go Natural because maintaining my Natural hair is difficult. What do I need to do to get a curly look? Should I get a texturizer, or should I get one of those perms with the curl rods? —Destiny
The texturizer will slightly reduce the Natural curl pattern in your hair and can help make it more manageable. The curly perm will create a specific curl pattern with the chemical application and the rods. The choice is yours to make. However, keep in mind that the texturizer may give you a little more styling flexibility.
