My hair was breaking in the back, so I decided to transition from a perm to Natural hair. What do I need to do to care for my hair as it’s growing back into its Natural texture? –Hazel
If you can find a stylist to help you through the transformation process, that would help a lot. If you are going through the process on your own, keep your hair softened and moisturized to help reduce breakage along the line of demarcation (where new growth and your previously relaxed hair meet). The point at which the relaxed hair meets the new growth is a weak spot, so keeping the hair soft and moisturized is very important.
