I will turn 50 soon and I wear my hair relaxed. My gray has start to come in at the hairline. Due to medication for my thyroid, it won’t hold a set. I would like to go Natural. How should I start the process? I color it now but would be willing to let the color grow out or get a nice low-tapered cut. Please help!– Maxine
Going Natural sounds like a good choice for you. A stylish, tapered cut would reduce the frustration of a gradual growing-out process, and you can continue to get your hair colored. Switch to a demi-perm color because it will be healthier for your hair, cover gray and last as long as a permanent color.
