How long should I wait to re-braid my hair after I have taken the braids out? Also, what else do I need to do to my hair before I get it re-braided again? – La Shawn
It would be ideal if you could wait several weeks before re-braiding. During this time, deep condition your hair with a combination of protein for strength and moisture for flexibility and shine. This treatment process, in conjunction with the freedom from the tension of braiding, will allow your hair to regain its elastic quality. Hair needs to have the ability to stretch and return like a rubber band without breaking to continue to grow strong.
