I had hair loss and I decided to cut my hair. What hairstyles would you recommend for oval-shaped faces? —Sherley
Try a fashion-forward short haircut with long, side swept bangs. This will deliver drama while the shortness and definition of the layers give it an edgy feel. The bangs and the shorter layers on top of the head make this hairstyle wearable for all face shapes. An appropriate haircut can make thin hair look thicker. Bangs and short hair are two quick tricks to give the appearance to thickening to your hair. Avoid layers on medium to long lengths of hair unless your hair is curly. Layers with straight hair reduce volume and require extra styling time to volumize. Very short hair, however, can be volumized with layers. A short, angled bob is also a good solution, or even a pixie cut. Experiment with different parts, as well.
