I have relaxed hair, but would like to add some color to it. Is it possible to have chemically straightened hair and haircolor without any damages? I’ve also never colored my hair before. Can you give me some tips? —Nyny
I’m glad you asked if it’s possible to have chemically straightened hair and haircolor without any damages. My best advice is to seek a professional who is known for working with clients with relaxed and color-treated hair. When ladies ask if they can do this at home, I always remind them of the importance of keeping relaxer applications on new growth only—especially when hair has been permanently color treated. Should you ever decide to get permanent haircolor over your relaxer, go with a trusted professional.
