My hair is extremely short, and I would like to know how to grow it back long and healthy without wearing braids or hair extensions. Any tips?—Nique
Beginning a healthy diet today can mean a more gorgeous head of hair within six months to a year. Hair growth can vary between ¼ inch to 1 inch per month. On average a person can expect to have about four to six inches of new growth every year, so it will take time to notice the effects of your nutritional changes. A diet rich in Vitamin C will help promote the creation of collagen, a structural fiber. Zinc is also important for tissue growth and repair, which includes hair growth.
