I have really thick, short hair. I am wondering what kind of flat iron would be best to use on my hair. It’s really hard to keep my hair straight and shiny because it’s so course and thick. —Nicollette
You want to use a flat iron with either ceramic or titanium heating plates. These technologies will help to remain healthier throughout the silkening process. Be sure to use a heat protectant, too. Shea butter will also a help to give coarse hair guest shine without leaving it greasy.
