Q
My temple areas are thinning. What can I use to thicken these areas? —Cynthia
A
The first step is to determine why your edges are thinning. If it is due to styling with tight ponytails, braids or excess tension, it could be Traction Alopecia. If that is the case, release any tension or tight areas and provide stimulation to the area by way of topical ointments or creams. If the area has gone too long without repair, the hair may now be in a resting phase and may not return. To be sure, see a professional who specializes in hair regrowth to assist you in this process.
