Gymnast Simone Biles Is Golden…
Congratulations to world-class gymnast Simone Biles on winning her 13thworld title! The 21-year-old athlete won gold in the vault category during the World Championships in Quatar. The win, her third world title in this year’s championships, broke the all-time record set by a male Belarusian gymnast in 1996.
About her victory, Simone posted on Instagram: “What a night…so many emotions…less than a year since I got back into training so I try not to be too hard on myself. Although I still placed 1st and MADE HISTORY I’m not entirely pleased with my performance. I’m still trying to find my confidence. But I won’t give up I’m proud of myself! Now on to finals.”
