Singer/songwriter Lolene gave SBH a backstage pass to the taping of the music video for her single, “Rich (Fake It Till You Make It)”. Check it out…

Lolene’s voluminous curls are ultra sexy. “As a kid I was trying to straighten [my curls] all the time,” says the singer. “Then I got to a point where I accepted [them].” Now, the electro-pop chick loves nothing more than, “a good, frizz-free day when I just shake it out real big and embrace the curl.” When frizz strikes “I might blow my hair straight or do a cute little pony,” says the singer about dealing with a bad hair day.

When it comes to tresses, one thing’s for certain—Lolene loves styling outside the box. “You heard it here first, I’m about to start crimping my hair. I’m on a mission to bring back that big ’80s crimp,” the singer declares. “I’m all about standing out in a crowd.”

As far as makeup goes, “it’s glamorous and experimental, but still natural,” says Lolene. Though the songstress keeps her makeup moves simple, she loves to make her big brown eyes pop, “I make sure I use good lashes because they widen out the eye—that’s my tip of the day.” The music maven describes her overall style as, “bright, big and definitely noticeable.” Her music isn’t the only thing that’s hot on the scene!
