For her pageant photo shoot with fashion photographer Fadil Berisha, Leila Lopes wore a fringe two-piece and her hair was fashioned in long, loose spiral curls accented with vivacious plum and fuchsia feathers. Meanwhile, the stunning beauty was glowing with pride when she was dressed in her National Costume on stage at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant. Her dress is reminiscent of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean that runs along the coast of Angola and her haute hairstyle shows beachy waves cascading down her back.

Always ready for her close-up, Leila Lopes looked gorgeous with silky strands worn down in lush barrel curls that fall softly against her shoulders. Her hair is tucked behind one ear to reveal a gorgeous teardrop earring.
Leila Lopes’ winning hairstyle was created by lead pageant stylist/Farouk Systems Global Artistic Board member Tammy Mixon. To create the look the hair pro shaped two high ponytails at the rear crown, wrapped a portion of hair around both ponytails to conceal the rubberbands and combined hair into one high ponytail. Loose strands were molded over hair filler, shaped into a full bun and secured using bobby pins. Voila!
