ORS Olive Oil Photo Shoot Set Visit…

Lights, camera, action! An ORS model looks absolutely stunning.

Sophisticate’s Black Hair was invited to check out the behind-the-scenes happenings during the ORS Olive Oil photo shoot for the iconic hair care line. Amidst gorgeous models and amazing hairstyles, along with the beauty buzz of the glam squad and ORS team, we chatted with Namaste Laboratories’ Chief Executive Officer Shawn Tollerson about what’s in store (literally!) for the beloved ORS Olive Oil hair care brand…

Please tell us what’s new with the ORS Olive Oil product line?

The brand has been around for 25 years and the refresh is designed not only to infuse new life to the packaging—but also infuse some good-performing ingredients to the products as well. The products have a call out of some of the ingredients that are already there. For example, the ORS Olive Oil Nourishing Sheen Spray has the enhancement of infused coconut oil and the ORS Olive Oil Edge Control is infused with sweet almond oil. Those are the big ones that we want to call out to consumers to let them know that they can look for some extra ingredients in their beloved ORS Olive Oil products.

Are the refreshed products available on store shelves now?

The majority of them are on the shelf now. But the consumer can look forward to seeing the whole line in January or February 2018.

The packaging has also been refreshed…

The packaging is modernized with metallic. So it has a little bit of a glisten to it. Consumers will still see the Olive Oil branding that they love but they’ll see an additional band that showcases the infused ingredient in it—so that’s a big difference they will see on the shelf.
