I am a a plus sized woman with a round face. I really want to cut my hair. It’s a good ways down my back but I’m afraid to do it because of my round face. I really like the Regina King cut but I’m sooo scared. What’s the best way to find a cut that will not make my face look as round as it is.

In addition to your web pages, build a hard copy portfolio of your work and be sure to bring it with you when you are doing photo shoots and runway shows. Referrals are also a great way to expand your career, so don’t be afraid to ask someone for a reference letter. You can keep a copy in your portfolio or on your web page!

I am a recent graduate of beauty school, and I have found that I love to weave and style, also to work photoshoot, runway shows, and travel. I network constantly, create webpages, and have also worked for free just for publicity and portfolio picutres. Mentors tell me to keep doing what Im doing and it will take off. Ive been searching for my big break but am getting inpatient. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice or tips?

I have been natural 1yr & my hair has been cut almost 6months. I plan to get kinky twist, do I need to get my ends clipped before I get my hair twisted? What brand shampoo & leave in conditioner should I use while I have this style for the winter months? Should it be a regular shampoo/dry shampoo?

I am currently using the Cuticle Remy XQ and though I am happy with the feel and quality of the hair, I am still having issues. This is my first try at doing a full sewn in weave. I only have the ten inch and this is long enough for me but it has lost its smooth texture and it tangles and shed something fierce. I wash it weekly because I work out three to four days a week and I use the Awesome products as recommended and I wrap it before going to bed every night. When I get up the next day and unwrap it is beautiful then when I hit outside it seems to swell and tangles. What am I doing wrong?

I really enjoyed reading the articles. I noticed that there are many highly skilled and informitive professional hairstylists that frequent the site. Is it ok for anyone to respond to a comment? I’m a hairstylist in California and I style celebrities for television and film. I saw many comments referring to how to become a celebrity stylist.
