I have locs for over 3 years now. Can you suggest shampoo and conditionerand or moisterizer for me. I’m currently using a shampoo & conditioiner in one. I’v noticed that my scalp is beginning to flake. Any suggestions

Hi Andrea: Visit the salon for a deep conditioning treatment to replace all the moisture and nutrients you may have taken out of your hair. Also, ask your stylist for a complete hair/scalp analysis so you may form new a cleansing and conditioning regimen to get your hair back on the healthy track!

I cut my hair into a short hairstyle and know Im growing it back out. The bad part about it is in the back I can’t keep it slick down. My hair is very thick. Without using a flat iron everyday, what can I put on my hair daily to help it stay slick. I have even tried the L’oreal eversleek serum and it didn’t really work.

I usually can go a while without a relaxer. I want to go natural but i dont want to cut my hair. I have been getting a dominican blowout which does my hair good and also i get a sew in weave. my hair was bouncy and pretty but now it seems like its shedding and breaking off. I was going to one hair stylist shewas doing a good job but now it seems like she wants to cut my hair all the time, she says I have bad ends.how can i get my hair to grow back and stop breakage and continue to keep my hair looking like it is relax without a relaxer.

I have recently had trama to my hair with bleach,my hair was shoulder length and it was was thick. Well I few months ago it started breaking really bad and I had to get it cut it’d doing much better now but I want to know what would you recommend for my hair to get its length back and thickness

Hi Widnie: It is important to keep your hair healthy and moisturized. If your hair is lacking moisture, try using a moisturizing conditioner to replenish dry, brittle hair. If you feel your hair needs more nutrients, try getting a protein conditioner at the salon once a month. You’ll know it’s working because the elasticity of your hair will be getting stronger and your strands won’t be breaking as much as they used to.
